Fabulous, MOB (Mother of the Bride), Dee Dee sent me a picture of the gift bags she put together for her daughters June wedding.
She put the map I created on the front of the bags and then filled them with treats for their out of town guests. So cute!
I’ve always loved calligraphy and have been wanting to incorporate it in Merry Maps! Calligraphy can make even the simplest note look chic and polished! When a tropical storm hit our annual family beach trip, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to practice. Here’s a few examples of what I’ve been working on…Obviously, I need a few more rain storms to work out the kinks, but I’m loving the look!
I have updated the Merry Maps website to:
- Make it easier for people to find me via search engines and social media sites.
- Keep my portfolio more up to date.
- Keep the press we have received up to date and link back to those sites that have been so kind.
- Keep my list of favorite sites up to date.
- Share some of my thoughts and experiences by combining my passion for design with my desire to be apart of joyous occasions.
